This Refund Policy explains how Border Loomers handles refunds for donations, art sales, and any paid programs or workshops.
Donations
Donations made to Border Loomers, whether through GoFundMe or other linked platforms, are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error (e.g., duplicate charge, incorrect amount), please contact us within 14 days and we'll do our best to help - though refunds for donations made through third-party platforms (like GoFundMe) may also be subject to that platform's own policies.
Art Sales
Where original artwork or fiber art pieces created by our participants, instructors, or community are sold through our site or gallery programming:

All sales are considered final due to the one-of-a-kind, handmade nature of the work, unless the piece arrives damaged or significantly different from its listing.

If a piece arrives damaged in shipping, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos, and we'll arrange a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate.

Custom or commissioned pieces are non-refundable once work has begun, except where Border Loomers is unable to complete the commission.
Workshops and Programs
Most Border Loomers workshops and programs are offered free of charge. Where a program does carry a fee (such as materials costs for a specific workshop):

Cancellations made at least 7 days before the workshop are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made after that point, or no-shows, are generally not eligible for a refund, though we're happy to apply your payment toward a future session where possible.

If Border Loomers cancels or reschedules a workshop, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another session.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us at borderloomers@gmail.com with your name, the donation/purchase/program date, and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 7 business days.
