Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines, targeting Level AA.

This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard navigation. As part of this effort, we have also:

• Set the language of the site to English (with Spanish content offered where available, given our bilingual programming)

• Ensured videos and audio files are accessible with captions and transcripts where available

Some pages of the site include content managed by third parties, such as social media links, embedded donation platforms (GoFundMe), and embedded content. We declare partial compliance for these pages, which may affect accessibility.

Accessibility arrangements in the organization

Border Loomers currently operates through community workshops and partner sites (including schools) rather than a permanent physical location. As we establish our planned spaces in Naco, Sonora and Bisbee, Arizona, we are committed to ensuring accessible entrances, appropriate accommodations, and inclusive design. In the meantime, we work with our program partners to accommodate accessibility needs at workshop locations, and we offer program materials in multiple formats upon request to ensure everyone can participate.
